Siddha Group Organized Second Phase Of Plantation Drive For Environmental And Community Benefits

Siddha Group, a well-known real estate developer, has launched its annual Plantation Drive, an initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and enhancing community welfare. Siddha Group celebrated World Nature Conservation Day by organizing second phase of the plantation drive at Siddha Galaxia. The event was graced by distinguished personalities Mr. Vikram Chatterjee, renowned Actor, Mr. Indrajit Lahiri Founder of Foodka, celebrated content creator and published author, Mr. Satrajit Sen, Producer & Director and saw active participation from the residents of Siddha Galaxia. This collective effort marks a significant step towards creating a greener and more sustainable future.

The initiative began in New Town, Kolkata showcasing Siddha Group’s ongoing commitment to combating climate change, reducing environmental degradation, and preserving biodiversity. Responding to the pressing nature of these challenges, Siddha Group has pledged to plant 50,000 saplings by 2030. The drive commenced with the planting of 200 saplings by the guests, and the residents. The event was organised and attended by Mr. Dev Sethia, Siddha Group and senior Siddha professionals.

“We have pledged to plant 50,000 saplings by 2030 as part of our dedication to environmental conservation for future generations. This marks the second phase of our plantation drive, which has been made possible with the enthusiastic support and cooperation of the residents of Siddha Galaxia. This initiative reflects our broader commitment to sustainable practices,” said Mr. Aayushman Jain, Director, Siddha Group.

The Plantation Drive embodies Siddha Group’s comprehensive vision of embedding sustainability within its primary operations and community projects. Demonstrating a strong track record, Siddha successfully planted 50,000 trees between 2012 and 2015. Collaborating with various stakeholders, Siddha Group seeks to significantly contribute to global initiatives aimed at combating climate change and restoring natural habitats.
