35 STIPEND DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY Organised by PASCHIM BANGIYA MARWARI SAMMELAN SHIKSHA KOSH

The 35 stipend presenting ceremony is being held in a memorable function on 26 September 2024 at Kala Mandir, Kolkata, Hon’ble Shri Firhad Hakim, Hon’ble MIC Municipal Affairs & Urban Development, Govt. of West Bengal, Mayor of Kolkata Municipal Corporation will inaugurate the function. In this programme near about 800 students from 100 schools will be benefited. The main aim of Shiksha Kosh is to stop the drop out of students from school and also education.

The welcome address will be delivered by Sri Brahmanand Agarwala president of Shiksha Kosh. Addressing the critical issue of dropouts, the Shiksha Kosh initiative takes a significant step towards ensuring access to education.Sri Manish Bajaj will deliver details activities of Shiksha Kosh. Vote of thanks will be given by Sri Krishna Kumar Lohia

A Brief Profile of Shiksha Kosh

The Shiksha Kosh ogansising such “Stipend Giving ceremony” since last 34years. This Shiksha Kosh is deeply associated with the various activities for the benefits of the mass. “PASCHIM BANGIYA MARWARI SAMMELAN SHIKSHA KOSH” since its inception in the year 1956 is doing various activities for betterment of the needy students of any cast creed, by way of giving stipend, dress, syllabus books, school bags etc. By this way so far, more than 16000 stipends to needy students of different schools in West Bengal have been benefited. The stipend amount is given by a/c payee cheque favouring their school name. Our ” SHIKSHA KOSH” have alone distributed more than 20000 dresses to less blessed children of Sunderban area. “SHIKSHA KOSH” also helps those students who want to pursue their higher studies in the field of medical and engineering course.
