Techno India Group Announces The Fourth Edition Of Techno Olympica Knights

Techno India Group, Eastern India’s largest private education group, is proud to announce the fourth edition of Techno Olympica Knights, a premier inter-school sports competition. This year’s edition will be held from 11th December to 16th December, 2024, and is set to witness an even bigger participation with over 1,700 students from 105+ schools across West Bengal. The competition will include students from classes I to XII and is open to all educational boards.

The grand opening of the event will feature the torch bearing ceremony and official theme song. The ceremony will be graced by distinguished personalities, including Ms. Anjum Moudgil , Olympian &Shooter and Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group.The event was attended by Mr. Meghdut Roychowdhury, Chief Innovation Officer, Techno India Group, Ms. Pauline Laravoire, Sustainability Director, Y East Techno India groupandother eminent dignitaries from the educational and sports sectors.

The registration for participating schools remains free, and, similar to previous editions, the top 3 schools will be awarded based on the medal tally. The winners will receive cash prizes and trophies as follows:

  • 1st Prize:Rs50,000/-
  • 2nd Prize:Rs30,000-/
  • 3rd Prize:Rs20,000-/
  • 4th Prize: Rs5,000

“Techno Olympica Knights is a platform designed to bring together the finest young athletes from across West Bengal and to encourage the spirit of sportsmanship and healthy competition.  The competition will feature a diverse range of sporting events for both boys and girls, including archery, badminton, basketball, chess, discus throw, football, freestyle swimming, freestyle relay swimming, individual race, kabaddi, long jump, relay race, table tennis, and volleyball. These events will be held at prominent venues across the city, including the Techno India Salt Lake Campus,  Sports Authority of India,  Kolkata, Spuddy Badminton Academy, HA Block Table Tennis Academy, and Subhas Sarobar Swimming Pool.
