The official curtain raiser for HOPECON’25, the highly anticipated fourth edition of India’s most comprehensive and multidisciplinary medical conference, was successfully held today, Thursday, 26th June 2025, at the ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata. The event marked a significant prelude to the main conference, themed “The Complete Conference for Comprehensive Care,” which is set to take place from 27th to 29th June 2025.
Organised by the Kolkata Nurture Foundation in collaboration with UNI Edu Health and Valmiki Healthcare, the curtain raiser witnessed enthusiastic participation from medical professionals, educators, and media, affirming the growing anticipation for the main event.
A key highlight of the curtain raiser was a special press conference announcing the launch of a ground breaking new medical education program. This initiative, inspired by the robust academic model of a reputed UK-based medical college, aims to introduce structured, globally relevant learning modules to Indian medical education, promising to elevate standards and access to international best practices.
The conference is spearheaded by a distinguished team of medical stalwarts: Dr Sukumar Mukherjee as the Organising President;Dr Payodhi Dhar , Founder & President of Kolkata Nurture Foundation & HOPECON; Dr Apurba Kumar Mukherjee, Co-Founder and Organising Chairman; Dr Pradip Kumar Mitra, Managing Director and Convenor; and Dr Gautam Saha, Organising Secretary.
