The 16th edition of the World Confluence of Humanity, Power & Spirituality was formally inaugurated today by Dr. C. V. Anand Bose, Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, marking a significant moment in India’s ongoing global dialogue on peace, ethical values and human consciousness. Organised by the Universal Spirituality and Humanity Foundation under the initiative of the Kanoria Foundation, the confluence brought together eminent leaders from governance, spirituality, diplomacy and academia to deliberate on issues central to humanity’s collective future.

Building on the legacy of its previous fifteen editions, the World Confluence once again emerged as a powerful international platform fostering dialogue on peace, tolerance, empathy, righteous action and service to mankind—values that assume heightened relevance amid global uncertainty and transformation.

Apart from the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, the event witnessed the august presence of Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Hon’ble Governor of Assam, alongside a distinguished gathering of national and international spiritual leaders, scholars, policymakers and thought leaders.

The two-day confluence featured thought-provoking addresses and discussions by an illustrious panel of spiritual luminaries, including Swami Shri Gyananand Ji Maharaj, Founder of Shri Krishna Kripa Seva Samiti and GIEO Gita; Dr. Imam Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, Chief Imam of the All India Imam Organization, New Delhi; Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, Founder President of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti; and Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati, Founder and President of the Divine Shakti Foundation.

Kanoria Foundation Chairman H P Kanoria said the World Confluence was conceptualised to promote the idea of universal humanity, cutting across divisions of religion, culture and nationality. “The forum seeks to encourage dialogue and ethical leadership at a time when societies across the world are witnessing growing polarisation,” he said.

Adding a strong global and humanitarian dimension, the confluence also saw participation from prominent international voices such as Cristina Eugenia Reyes Hidalgo, Ecuadorian poet, lawyer and presidential candidate; H.R.M. Nana Akomanyi Essandoh V, Sovereign Ruler of the Kingdom of Gomoa, Odumase, Ghana; H.R.H. Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, Queen of Maharika and Founder of We Care for Humanity; and Amb. Dr. Deepak Vora, I.F.S. (Retd.), former Indian Ambassador, among many others representing diverse cultures and philosophies. The 16th World Confluence reaffirmed India’s growing leadership in convening meaningful global conversations that bridge governance, spirituality and human values. Deliberations throughout the event underscored the need for ethical leadership, spiritual awareness and compassionate action to ensure the well-being of present and future generations.
