The team of Vijayanagar’er Hirey brought an atmosphere of excitement, music and youthful exuberance to Techno India Group Public School with a special school visit that turned the campus into a lively celebration of cinema and imagination.
The morning witnessed an overwhelming response from students, who welcomed the film’s team with infectious enthusiasm. The spirit of Kakababu came alive across the school as students donned Kakababu masks, cheered loudly and applauded the artists transforming the visit into a vibrant, interactive experience rather than a conventional interaction.
The event was graced by the presence of director Chandrasish Ray, along with actors Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aryann Bhowmik, Pushan Dasgupta and Satyam Bhattacharya. The team engaged warmly with the students, speaking about adventure, curiosity, courage and teamwork—values that lie at the heart of Vijaynagar’er Hirey. Their candid interaction and easy camaraderie made the session inspiring and memorable for everyone present.
One of the highlights of the event was the live musical performance of the film’s song ‘Jaatra Shubho Hok’ by celebrated singers Durnibar Saha and Debayan Banerjee. The soulful rendition resonated deeply with the young audience, drawing loud applause and adding a powerful emotional note to the celebration.
The visit emerged as a seamless blend of cinema, music and youthful energy—where storytelling met imagination, and the world of Kakababu transcended the screen to find a place in the hearts of young admirers. One of the most poignant moments of the event unfolded when the students paid a heartfelt tribute to Mr. Prosenjit Chatterjee, whose enduring creative
legacy continues to inspire generations. Displaying exceptional young talent, the students delivered soulful renditions of his iconic songs, from “Chirodini Tumi Je Amaar” to “Benche Thakaar Gaan,” creating an emotionally resonant atmosphere that deeply moved both the artists and the audience. The tribute beautifully underscored how timeless storytelling and music continue to thrive through the voices of the younger generation.
With its theatrical release slated for 23rd January 2026, this Saraswati Pujo, Vijaynagar’er Hirey continues to build anticipation through meaningful on-ground engagements, celebrating adventure and storytelling while forging a special connection with the next generation of audiences.
