An engaging and thought-provoking talk show, Private Detectives: Only in Stories? preceded the book launch, where a distinguished panel discussed the concept of private detectives in fiction and real life. The panel included Shri Sukhendu Hira (IPS), DIG- Security, Shri Satyam Roychoudhury, Author & Entrepreneur, Shri Anindya Chatterjee, Singer-Lyricist of Bengali Band Chandrabindoo, Shri Aniruddha Roy Choudhury, Director, Shri Pratim D Gupta, Journalist and Shri Biswanath Basu, Popular Actor. The discussion which delved on the portrayal of detectives in popular literature and cinema and how these characters influence society’s view of crime-solving, enlivened the atmosphere.
