HRD Antwerp now in Kolkata with Diamond & Jewellery Certification Services

HRD Antwerp, Europe’s leading authority in Diamond and Jewellery Grading, Education and Equipment, has announced the opening of its new office in Kolkata. This strategic expansion further strengthens HRD Antwerp’s footprint in India, bringing internationally trusted diamond and jewellery certification services closer to manufacturers, retailers, and consumers across Eastern India.

The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of Mr. Ashok Bengani, President of the Calcutta Gems and Jewellery Association; Mr. Tom Neys, Global Marketing, Sales & Education Director, HRD Antwerp; and Mr. Ramakant Mitkar, Managing Director, HRD Antwerp India . The event was attended by leading jewellers, exporters, and representatives of regional trade associations.

Situated in the heart of Kolkata’s bustling gem and jewellery district, the new facility will offer comprehensive grading services for natural and lab-grown diamonds, as well as finished jewellery.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Ashok Bengani, President of the Calcutta Gems and Jewellery Association, said, “Kolkata has always been a vital hub for jewellery craftsmanship and trade. The arrival of HRD Antwerp’s world-class certification services in our city will undoubtedly empower local businesses and elevate consumer trust.
