With the countdown to the JITO Premier League (JPL) 2026 underway, RDB Monarch Bengal Indians, the East Zone franchise, officially unveiled its final squad and team jersey, signalling the beginning of its campaign for one of the most anticipated community cricket tournaments in the country.
The launch event, held at RDB Regent Vatika, Kolkata, brought together owners, players, management, and supporters as the team prepared to battle it out in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from August 24 to September 5, 2026. RDB Group and Monarch Group have launched their franchise, RDB Monarch Bengal Indians, which shall be participating at the JITO Premier League (JPL) 2026.
JITO Premier League is the largest Community Cricket League, an initiative of JITO – Jain International Trade Organisation that celebrates leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community bonding by bringing together entrepreneurs and professionals from across India through the spirit of cricket.
The launch ceremony was attended by the team owners Mr. Vinod Dugar, Chairman, RDB Group. Besides, former Indian cricketer, Mr. Saradindu Mukherjee, who has been appointed as the Head Coach of the RDB Monarch Bengal Indians also graced the event along with his support team.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vinod Dugar, Chairman, RDB Group, said, “The JITO Premier League is an ecosystem built on shared love for cricket by the Jain community. It serves as a podium to build camaraderie, celebrate teamwork, and bring the community together through the sport. We are proud to have RDB Monarch Bengal Indians represent the East Zone and look forward to seeing the team take on this exciting challenge in Colombo.”

Expressing confidence in the team’s preparations, Mr. Saradindu Mukherjee, Head Coach, RDB Monarch Bengal Indians, said, “The players have shown tremendous commitment, discipline, and hunger throughout our preparations. We have built a balanced squad with the right blend of experience and young talent. More importantly, the team understands that wearing the RDB Monarch Bengal Indians jersey is about representing the pride of the East Zone.

Led by Captain Priyank Bengani, with Deepak Jain serving as Vice-Captain, the squad comprises a blend of experienced players and promising young talent, including U-19 player Darsh Dugar, reflecting the franchise’s focus on nurturing the next generation of cricketers.
RDB Monarch Bengal Indians will compete in this 12-franchise league in Group B alongside Mumbai Kings, Pune Peshwas, Indore Hawks, Chennai Striker Kings, and Gujarat Gladiators, promising an exciting contest among some of the strongest teams in the tournament.
As the team embarks on its journey to Colombo, the launch marks not only the beginning of a cricket campaign but also the celebration of sporting excellence, leadership, and community spirit—values that lie at the heart of the JITO Premier League.
