Ushasi Roy who will be seen in the series playing Petni, said “I will give all my credit to Abhimanyu Mukherjee as he was the one to transform me into Petni from Ushasi. It was a challenging journey to get into the psyche of Petni and behave and become the same.” “We have tried to tell the story of Petni is a scary yet simple way. Petni has all the elements that will intrigue the viewers. We all are so excited to share one of the best stories written by Padmanabha Dasgupta with viewers across the world on Addatimes and hope it entertains the audience at the same time. “ said director Abhimanyu Mukherjee.
The trailer launch took place in presence of Ushasi Ray, Jasmine Roy, Kanchan Mallick, Padmanabha Dasgupta, Subhrajit Dutta, Arnab Banerjee and Abhimanyu Mukherjee at one of the popular locations of Kolkata; Soul-The Sky Lounge which had a spooky decoration adding an extra layer of mystique to the event. Petni directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee starring Ushashi Ray, Jasmine Roy, Kanchan Mullick, Subhrajit Dutta and Arnab Banerjee will start streaming from 17th November.
