Around 400 plus students of BSS School today participated in Fitness Training and Zumba to promote distance running with TSK 25K, with cricket icon Jhulan Goswami on the sidelines inspiring them to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Road Races are common to all great cities and it is an honor and privilege for Procam International to seed the running movement in the city of Kolkata with the Tata Steel Kolkata 25K scheduled to be conducted on Sunday the 17th of December 2023 under the aegis of the West Bengal Athletic Association.
Jhulan Goswami, TSK 25K Ratna, 2023 today visited BSS SCHOOL to create awareness amongst the students for health and fitness. Also highlighted her journey from Chakdah to Lords. Students and Teachers were also overwhelmed interacting with her and listening to the stories of her long and chequered career.
Jhulan Goswami said “In today’s age, fitness and sports are equally important for the wellbeing of one’s mind and body especially for students beside studies. Determination, discipline and perseverance must be maintained to reach whatever goal you have set for yourself but for that one needs to maintain a healthy mind. Use negativity as your motivation and changing one’s though process is extremely necessary and for that being involved in running or any sport to keep youself fit is extremely necessary”.
Prasanta Saha, Regional Director, Procam International, said “ TSK 25K importance of mass participation in sports & also salutes our Brave Jawans by organizing VIJAY DIWAS TROPHY for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force”.
