Desun Hospitals Successfully Hosts Free Oral Screening Camp in Commemoration of World No Tobacco Day

Desun Hospitals, a premier healthcare institution in Kolkata, proudly announces the successful culmination of its inaugural Free Oral Screening Camp held on Wednesday, inaugurated by Shri Kaushik Mitra, Chief Public Relation Officer, Eastern Railway. The event, organized in commemoration of World No Tobacco Day (31st May), aimed to spotlight the pressing issue of oral cancer prevalence and the crucial role of early detection in combatting the disease.

The Free Oral Screening Camp, hosted at Desun Hospital, Kolkata, received an overwhelming response from the community, with approximately 300 families availing themselves of the screening services. This enthusiastic participation underscores the urgent need for initiatives addressing tobacco-related health risks in our society.
