The Young Leaders Forum (YLF) was thrilled to host a captivating session with celebrated actor Vikrant Massey at the Hyatt Centric, Ballygunge. Massey, who has made a mark with his exceptional performances in the entertainment industry, shared his inspiring journey of personal struggles and achievements, leaving a profound impact on the audience.
During the event, Vikrant Massey opened up about his humble beginnings and how his background shaped his ambitions. “I come from a very regular middle-class family. I’m the second child, so there were quite a few challenges. By the time I grew up, say 15 or 16, I realized I needed to step up to support both my family and myself to fulfill my aspirations. I always wanted to be an actor, and while working at a coffee shop, I got a job opportunity with choreographer Shiamak Davar. At 16, I got my first TV show, and that’s when I realized that life had better plans for me,” he shared.
Massey also touched upon his rise in the film industry, with special emphasis on his critically acclaimed performance in 12th Fail and excitement about his upcoming project Sector 36, offering valuable insights into the world of cinema.
Rahul Kyal, Chairperson of the Young Leaders Forum, expressed his gratitude for Massey’s visit. “We were truly honored to have Vikrant Massey join us for a session at the Young Leaders Forum. His humility and honesty while sharing stories of his early struggles and rise in the industry left a lasting impression on all of us.
