Breaking Barriers: CCI Logistics Celebrates 600 Transgender Voices Ahead of Durga Puja

CCI Logistics successfully hosted a remarkable pre-Durga Puja event, “Embracing Inclusivity: Celebrating 600 Voices, One Heart,” dedicated to honouring the transgender community’s contributions to society. The event brought together 600 members of the transgender community, offering them a platform to celebrate their identity and highlight their significance in our social fabric. The initiative, which turned 14th this year, is a token of CCI Logistics’ unparalleled commitment to inclusivity and recognition of those who are often shunned and ignored.

The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Smt. Supti Pandey, Member of the Legislative Assembly from Maniktala, Shri, Shanti Ranjan Kundu, Councillor, Ward no. 32, Renowned social worker Shri Tinkari Dutta and Smt. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson EZ – CSR, CCI among others. Their presence highlighted the importance of such community-driven events that promotes inclusivity and celebrates the diverse spirit of Durga Puja.

The day’s celebration was marked by heartfelt emotions, joy, and a sense of belonging as the transgender community was celebrated, shared in the festivities. Each attendee was also presented with a saree as a token of love and appreciation, spreading the message that they are valued and have a rightful place in our society.
