Saraswati World School Hosts “Oorja 2025”: A Spectacular Showcase of Talent, Culture, and Education

Saraswati World School hosted its highly anticipated annual event, ‘Oorja 2025’,a remarkable celebration of academic achievements, artistic expression, and cultural vibrancy which was held at the school premises. The event was graced by a distinguished gathering of esteemed guests, including prominent educational leaders, parents, faculty members, and students.

The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt reception, followed by an introductory address, a traditional garlanding ceremony, and a ceremonial lamp-lighting, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. Key dignitaries, including Honourable Chairman Mr. Vikrant Singh, Vice Chairman Mr. Vinod Singh, and Director Mrs. Sneha Singh, led the event. The occasion was further honored by the presence of Chief Guests, Mr. Biswajit Mukherjee, an eminent environmentalist and social activist, and Mr. Debashis Mukhopadhyay, a distinguished researcher and writer, who inspired the audience with thought-provoking speeches on sustainable practices and the importance of intellectual pursuits in education.

The Principal, Mrs. Shyamasree Biswas, delivered the school’s annual report, reflecting on the institution’s significant achievements, milestones, and progress over the past year. The Chairman’s address further underscored the pivotal role of education in shaping the future of young minds.

A major highlight of the event was the launch of “School Education in India in 2024,” a new book by Vice Chairman Mr. Vinod Singh. The book reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and its ongoing contributions to the education sector.

The event also featured an exciting array of cultural performances, displaying the creative talents of the students like: Shiv Tandav, Nari Shakti, Achuthan Keshabam, A Vivekananda-Themed Presentation, Siksha ka Mulyo and The Kindness of Ram, Black & White Era Dance Sequence, Freedom Fighter Bhagat Singh Dance Drama and A powerful portrayal of patriotism & heroism.

The event culminated in a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, leaving the audience with a lasting sense of unity and patriotism.

“Oorja 2025” was a resounding success, seamlessly blending academic achievements with cultural and artistic excellence. It was a testament to Saraswati World School’s holistic educational philosophy, emphasizing the importance of nurturing well-rounded individuals who are equipped to excel in a rapidly evolving world.
