Education company, PhysicsWallah’s (PW) tech-enabled offline centres, PW Vidyapeeth, celebrated the achievement of their student Smayan Dasnayak, who scored an impressive 99.20% in the Class 10th CBSE Board Examination 2025. A resident of Kolkata, West Bengal, Smayan’s journey is compelling.
Speaking on his success, Smayan said, “To be honest, I was quite casual in my approach initially, but consistent support from the faculty at PW Vidyapeeth truly helped shape my academic journey. I’ve come to believe there is no hack to success, it’s about finding your rhythm. Stress plays a crucial role in building character. I managed it by taking regular breaks, which made a big difference. The PW tests were especially useful for improving my memory retention. Distractions are a part of life, however, entertainment is essential to refresh the mind, but it must have its limits. I did use social media, though I made sure it didn’t take over my schedule. Looking ahead, I aspire to appear for the International Physics Olympiad, the International Maths Olympiad, and ultimately the JEE. My dream is to become a researcher, and if given the opportunity, a professor.”
Alakh Pandey, Teacher, Founder and CEO of PW, said, “Smayan’s result is an example of the value of regular effort and the right resources. At PW, we try to support students from various backgrounds in preparation for their academic goals.” This year, over 23 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 examination. Smayan’s performance places him among the students who secured high scores and is also an example of the role of offline learning in academic preparation.
