Genesis Hospital Kasba, Kolkata celebrated their doctors and local general practitioners of Kolkata, West Bengal at its premises in the auditorium.
The Doctors’ Day was celebrated with grandeur and elegance in collaboration with Rotary Club of Benevolence and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
The theme was aligned with the pertinent and pressing issues within the medical community that is “Behind the Mask : Who Heals the Healer?” The poignant phrase underscores the overlooked mental health conditions of doctors who are the care – givers for others but tend to neglect their emotional well – being.
We at Genesis Hospital Kasba Kolkata honoured our doctors the healers behind the masks not just today but everyday when the Doctors tirelessly take care of our patients 24×7×365 days whether it’s online or in person doctors are always concerned about their patients health.
Its time to focus on our doctors health too. Our message was to celebrate our doctors and make them feel happy.
The cake was designed to show that Genesis Hospital Kasba Kolkata is a surgery related Hospital for the MIG category of people in our state, West Bengal.
A private Hospital run by Directors named Dr. Purnendu Roy and Dr. Olivia Dunlop along with its CEO Mr. Simon Dunlop in the management. The hospital has nearly 100 percent success rate in its Surgeries, Treatments and Procedures with 100 beds, 4 Operation Theaters, ICU, NICU, Pharmacy, Pathology and Diagnostics last but not least a Health Canteen and Health Cafe within its Hospital.
Dr. Purnendu Roy is one of the pioneers in the field of bringing Laparoscopic Surgery in Eastern India. The safest hand which has done 51 Surgeries in a day with an average time of 8 minutes with safety measures and protocol intact.
The program was conducted by giving respect and whole-hearted tribute to Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy whose birth and death anniversary are on the same date 1st July. Doctors’ Day was 1st celebrated in India in the year 1991. This day has been designated by the Government of India as National Doctor’s Day to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities at large.
Then the cake cutting ceremony and the felicitation of all the Doctors were done which made the Doctors extremely happy and overwhelmed.
The team of Genesis Hospital curated a presentation for the Doctors which was heart touching for all present. The indoor plants were provided by the charity organization of Rotary Club of Benevolence by their president Rtn. Tarakjit Saha and chartered presidnet Rtn. Kaushik Sen and all the members of Rotary Club were there to cheer everyone.
The program was concluded by given Hi Tea to everyone but the joy on the faces of our doctors and our teams working relentlessly at our hospital was infectious and welcoming.
