CII today announced that renowned international brand strategist and author Dr Erich Joachimsthaler will visit Kolkata to lead the 24th edition of CII Brand Conclave 2025, India’s premier brand management workshop. The announcement was made at a press meet held in Kolkata.

CII Brand Conclave, now in its 24th year, has become a landmark platform that brings together more than 400 top delegates from across India each year, including marketing leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators. Over the past two decades, the conclave has become synonymous with innovation, insight, and inspiration, hosting some of the world’s most influential voices in branding and marketing.

The press meet also marked the official launch of “Brand Collector”, a pioneering platform created to celebrate and strengthen brand excellence. The initiative aims to build a vibrant community of brand leaders, fostering collaboration and thought leadership across industries.

Addressing the media, Mr Animesh Roy, Co-chairman, CII Marketing & Brand Task Force, Eastern Region & Chief Services & Solutions, Tata Steel Ltd, announced that this year’s Brand Conclave will feature a towering figure in the world of branding – Dr Erich Joachimsthaler, CEO of VIVALDI, a world-renowned strategist, innovation expert, and acclaimed author. With his deep understanding of brand ecosystems in the age of disruption, Dr Joachimsthaler’s presence marks a new chapter for the conclave, one that explores the reinvention of businesses in an AI-powered world. He will lead a day-long masterclass on How AI Creates Value for Businesses and Brands, delving into how AI is transforming branding, driving growth, and redefining the future of marketing.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Namit Bajoria, Managing Director, Kutchina Homemakers Ltd, announced the unveiling of the Brand Collector’s Issue, a special compendium featuring insights from global brand thinkers such as Al Ries, David Aaker, Jean-Noël Kapferer, Kevin Lane Keller, Nicolas Ind, David Meerman Scott, and Martin Lindstrom. The edition brings together powerful perspectives on brand perception, creativity, fandom, and the future of marketing — serving as a valuable resource to inspire new thinking within the branding community.

Mr Rupak Barua, Vice Chairman, CII West Bengal State Council and MD & CEO of Woodlands Hospital asserted that international exposure has always been at the heart of Brand Conclave. By connecting with global thought leaders, he said, CII continues to enrich the knowledge base of Indian marketers and contribute meaningfully to the evolution of brand thinking in India.

The forthcoming CII Brand Conclave 2025 promises to be an enriching experience, bringing global perspectives on AI-led brand innovation to India’s marketing and business community.
