Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector and a subsidiary of the Tata Power Company Limited (‘Tata Power’), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCC&I). The MoU aims to drive structured awareness and outreach programs for MSMEs across key industrial sectors in West Bengal, reinforcing TPREL’s commitment to accelerating rooftop solar adoption among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.

Tata Power Solaroof is driving rooftop solar adoption in West Bengal. Till date, the state has installed a cumulative capacity of 85+ MWp through 20+ channel partners, enabling localized engagement, effective outreach, and seamless project execution for MSMEs across industrial clusters.

At a business level, Tata Power Solaroof has established a strong presence across residential, commercial, and industrial segments, supporting the adoption of rooftop solar across diverse industries. Tata Power Solaroof offers customers a comprehensive rooftop solar solution featuring high-performance modules backed by a 25-year performance warranty, financing options, insurance, and robust after-sales support. This end-to-end approach enables enterprises to transition to cleaner, more resilient energy solutions with confidence.

At a pan-India level, Tata Power Solaroof has a Pan India presence supported by a national ecosystem of 650+ channel partners, ensuring scale, consistency, and reliability in rooftop solar deployment. This expanding decentralised solar footprint aligns with the broader national trend, where rooftop solar installations have surpassed 3 lakhs, accounting for 4 GWp+ of installed capacity. Through such initiatives, TPREL continues to contribute meaningfully to India’s clean energy journey, supporting the country’s ambition of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and progressing towards net-zero emissions by 2070.
