Myntra, alongside St. Xavier’s University’s XAVRANG, made a high-energy debut of the Myntra Glamfest Tour in Kolkata, bringing together fashion, music, creators, and campus culture in an immersive celebration on January 16. Drawing an on-ground footfall of 7,000+ students from across the city, the event transformed the campus into a vibrant hub of trend discovery, live entertainment, and creative expression, firmly positioning Glamfest Tour as Myntra’s newest youth-centric campus movement.
The event saw the campus host multiple live performances, fashion-led programming, and interactive experiences, with sustained student participation throughout the day. The Myntra Experience Zone emerged as a key attraction, with distinct experience sections like Party Pit, Filmy Fever, and Underground Alley offering pop-culture-led games, photo moments, street-style displays, and curated merchandise showcases. Student creativity also took the spotlight through an inter-University Talent Hunt, a Fashion Competition that concluded with the awarding of the Myntra Fashion Title, and a 30-minute fashion showcase by students of St. Xavier’s University styled using fashion and accessories from Myntra.
The campus energy peaked with a live performance by Asees Kaur, whose headlining act brought together thousands of students singing along to her most loved tracks. The performance marked one of the most memorable moments of the night, underscoring the tour’s ability to blend music, fashion, and youth culture into a single, high-impact campus experience.
Commenting on the successful first edition, Abhishek Gour, Senior Director of Brand, Myntra, said, “For Myntra, engaging young audiences has increasingly meant moving beyond traditional brand touchpoints to experiences rooted in culture and participation. The Kolkata edition of the Myntra Glamfest Tour reflects this shift, bringing fashion and music into campus spaces where youth engagement is most organic. The strong response at St. Xavier’s University’s XAVRANG reinforces the relevance of campus-led formats and underscores how immersive, on-ground experiences are shaping the way young consumers discover and engage with fashion today.”
With Kolkata marking a strong start, the Myntra Glamfest Tour will extend its presence to more college campuses across the country.
