The 20th edition of the 365 Oranges Cup, a renowned 6-a-side corporate cricket tournament, witnessed a thrilling display of sportsmanship and talent as LTI Mindtree emerged victorious, claiming the championship title. IBM, on the other hand, showcased their competence to secure the Plate Championship in an exciting finale. The final day of the tournament, held at the FC Cricket Ground, Salt Lake, was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. IB Roy, ACE Bengal cricketer & selector; Souvik Raha, MD of Ethnotel; PuspaSourav Biswas, Director PWC; and Joy Chatterjee, CEO & Founder, 365 Oranges Cup, who presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
The tournament, spanning several days of intense cricketing action, saw participation from prominent corporate entities, showcasing their talent and team spirit on the field. The event provided a welcome break from the rigors of corporate life, emphasising the importance of sports in promoting employee well-being and unity. LTI Mindtree claimed the title of Champion in this year’s 365 Oranges Cup, while IBM secured the Plate Champion position. Sujay Kundu of LTI Mindtree was hailed as the standout performer of the tournament, earning the prestigious Player of the Tournament award for his exceptional contributions throughout the event.
