Paschim Banga Gramin Bank Marks 18th Foundation Day with M-Swasth Partnership to Launch 18 E-Clinics and 110 Virtual Health camps and 43 Physical Health Camps In West Bengal

HOWRAH : On the occasion of Paschim Banga Gramin Bank’s 18th Foundation Day, the bank has joined hands with M-Swasth to inaugurate 18 E-Clinics within its branches. In addition, a series of 110 virtual health camps and 43 physical health camps are scheduled across various regions of West Bengal. M-SWASTH, overseeing 95 E-Clinics in West Bengal, has collaborated with Paschim Banga to establish 18 more E-Clinics in the state.

The prestigious event witnessed the presence of Paschim Banga Gramin Bank’s Chairman, P.K. Biswas, along with key figures from the bank, including General Manager Daleep Singh Garbryal, Shantanu Ghosh, Amid Kumar Murmu, Ms. Pujasree Das, and Chief Manager Subrata Biswas.

M-Swasth was represented by its prominent team members, including VP and Head of Banking Syed Allauddin, Business Head of RRB Debal Rishi Banerjee, Regional Head Vipin Sharma, and Key Account Manager for PBGB Santu Choudhury.

M-Swasth adopts a transformative approach, combining hi-tech telemedicine with a hi-touch E-Clinic model to address healthcare challenges in rural areas. The telemedicine service breaks down barriers, enabling remote individuals to connect with doctors from their homes. A toll-free number is provided for those without smartphones. E-Clinics, managed by qualified nurses, offer preventive and primary care in rural and accessible locations. Serving as a gateway to connect patients with qualified doctors through tablets, E-Clinics also provide free medicines. Prescriptions are sent via SMS to prevent misinformation or incorrect medications.

Addressing healthcare challenges such as accessibility, affordability, acceptability, and awareness, M-Swasth currently serves over 80 lakh customers, conducting more than 30 lakh doctor consultations. The dedicated team of 2300 in-house professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and nurses, along with 2,700+ clinics across India, ensures high-quality healthcare services.

This initiative aligns with the vision of Digital Health Inclusion for All, marking a significant stride towards a healthier and happier future for all in partnership with Paschim Banga Gramin Bank.
