SPK Jain Futuristic Academy Celebrates Motherhood with Tribute to Rabindranath Tagore

SPK Jain Futuristic Academy hosted a heartwarming tribute to motherhood, commemorating the 163rd birth anniversary of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore. This event was about honoring the spirit of ‘Maa. This tribute to motherhood was woven through the lens of Rabindranath Tagore’s works, the event celebrated motherhood, encouraging mothers to prioritize their happiness and voice their needs without guilt. The event, held at SPK Jain Futuristic Academy, featured speeches by Secretary Jaideep Patwa and Principal Jayeeta Ganguly, advocating for a shift in societal expectations of mothers.
It celebrated the imperfect yet profound essence of motherhood, urging mothers to prioritize their happiness and voice their needs without guilt. By drawing inspiration from the works of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore, the event sought to redefine societal expectations of mothers and emphasize their individuality and worth. Through performances and presentations, attendees were invited to embrace the diverse facets of maternal love, acknowledging mothers as nurturers, caregivers, mentors, and above all, individuals deserving of love and appreciation in every aspect of their being.
Students from the academy captivated the audience with performances showcasing the multifaceted roles of mothers through renditions of Tagore’s timeless works. From primary students depicting “Shades of Bonding” to an enchanting lyrical dance drama “Bir Purush” by elementary students, the performances resonated with attendees.

Upper elementary students presented “Amar Mukti Aloy Aloy,” a poignant portrayal of maternal love and sacrifice.
The event concluded on a joyous note with a cake cutting ceremony, symbolizing the celebration of motherhood in all its forms.
SPK Jain Futuristic Academy extends heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and participants for making the event a resounding success.
