Aditya Academy Group of Schools hosted the third edition of its eagerly anticipated literary event on 9th and 10th August 2024 at the Aditya Academy Senior Secondary, Dumdum. EMBLAZON, the literary fest organised by Aditya Academy Group of Schools, had its inaugural year in 2022. Like every year, the third edition too brought students together to celebrate and enjoy a diverse range of artistic expressions, including music, dance, elocution, one-act plays, debates, quizzes, and numerous other events. Aditya Group embarked on its 30th year this year, and it was indeed our honour to pay a special tribute to Guru Thankamani Kutty.
The two-day-long event was graced by Ms. Sohini Sengupta, renowned actor, as our chief guest; Ms. Bratati Bhattacharya, esteemed educationist, and Mr. Somnath Kutty, multi-talented eminent personality, as our Guests of Honour, along with Roshni Aditya, Managing Director, Aditya Group; Roshne Aditya, Director, Aditya Group; Sabita Saha, Director, Aditya Academy Group of Schools, and Kasturi Kejriwal, Chief Operating Officer, Aditya Academy Group of Schools.
Emblazon 2024 featured a robust line up of 12 events over two days and saw the participation of more than 22 schools, highlighting the remarkable talents of the participating students. Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar, Apeejay School Park Street, Narayana School, Newtown, St. Joseph’s College, DPS Barasat, APS Barrackpore, Adamas World School, and Young Horizons School, to name a few.
The festival offered an array of activities, including debates, quizzes, a fashion show, duet dancing, and creative showcases, which enthralled attendees and showcased students’ talents. Ms. Kavita Kapur, the mentor of Aditya Academy Group of Schools, the protagonist of the literary fest, “Emblazon” along with the support of Ms. Meghna Ghoshal, Principal of the host school put up a show that aptly symbolised a vibrant celebration of student achievements and literary enthusiasm.
