India is set to witness a new chapter in sporting excellence with the launch of the Indian Darts Open 2026, an elite darts championship designed to elevate the sport, inspire the next generation of players, and establish India as an emerging destination on the global darts calendar.
Taking place from 10 September 2026 at The Lalit Great Eastern Hotel in Kolkata, the Indian Darts Open will bring together some of the country’s finest players alongside internationally renowned professionals for a celebration of precision, competition, and sportsmanship.
More than just a tournament, the Indian Darts Open represents an ambitious vision for the future of darts in India—combining world-class competition with grassroots development, player opportunities, and meaningful fan engagement.
Prasanta Saha, Secretary General of the All India Darts Association (AIDA) and tournament organiser, said “The Indian Darts Open is our commitment to creating a platform where Indian players can compete at the highest level while inspiring future generations to embrace the sport. We are especially pleased to be hosting this landmark tournament in a year when AIDA is celebrating its 25th anniversary.”
