much-anticipated web series “Gorky-r Ma”, set to premiere exclusively on the Fridaay OTT platform on 22nd May,
2026.

About the Series
“Gorky-r Ma” is an intense psychological thriller-drama that unfolds over the course of a single night, delving deep into
the fragile boundaries between truth and perception, guilt and survival.
The story follows Manik, a man sent by a ruthless real estate developer to acquire an aging ancestral house by any
means necessary. With a newly married life awaiting him, Manik views this as just another compromise in his pursuit
of stability.
However, inside the house resides Labanya, a solitary widow fiercely protective of her space and silence. What
begins as a calculated confrontation soon spirals into an unsettling psychological battle. The unexpected return of her
son, Gorky, disrupts Manik’s control, turning the night into a tense and unpredictable confrontation.
As the hours pass, the house transforms into a claustrophobic space where past and present collide. Labanya’s grief
deepens into ambiguity, while Manik finds himself torn between fear, guilt, and the life—and wife—waiting for him
outside.
With shifting truths, mounting silences, and blurred intentions, the series raises haunting questions:
What truly happened that night? What remains hidden—and why? And how far can one go to protect their future
without losing themselves completely?
